C.J. CHERRYH: C.J. Cherryh is among the best of authors. It is our good fortune that she decided to write fantasy and science fiction. There is no science fiction/fantasy author who can match her consistently outstanding novels. Read any of her books and you too will become a fan for life. Her writing is poetic.

JANE S. FANCHER: It takes more than desire to write a story. Jane Fancher has the gift. She is a courageous writer. In her "Ring Series", she expresses a magical lyricism while creating a reality that will transport you to a new world, filled with intrigue. Her "Groundties Series" is an extraordinary series of books in which hard science fiction is melded with a unique insight into human nature. If you have not read her books yet, it is time; you are in for a special treat. When one of her books becomes available, it is time to stop whatever you are doing and begin reading. She is also a very talented artist. See examples of her art at her web site.

BRIAN A. HOPKINS: I first became aquatinted with Brian Hopkins’ writing when I read "The Licking Valley Coon Hunters Club". "Coon Hunters" is a deliciously humorous story with a decidedly dark side. His wry humor is uniquely able to tickle while horrifying at the same time. "Coon Hunters" won the Bram Stocker Award for best first novel. He also won the Bram Stocker Award in 1999 for best long fiction. I recommend that you visit his web site and read his books. You too will appreciate his special point of view and skills as a storyteller.

SELINA ROSEN: Selina Rosen is a special person. Her will and strength are infused into her books so that they too are strong, but it is a strength that is leavened with humor. Her books are reader’s books; they flow. Once a reader starts, the story pulls the reader through at a breathtaking pace. She is a uniquely talented storyteller. It is such a pleasure to discover an author like Selina Rosen. I strongly recommend that you too discover Selina Rosen. You may want to begin with "Queen of Denial" and "Chains of Freedom" and progress to her chapbooks and other stories. Visit her web site.

DAVID LEE ANDERSON: David Lee Anderson illustrates science fiction and fantasy. He’s shown paintings at more than 350 convention art shows and has been the artist Guest of Honor at twenty conventions. He’s done work for TOR and Baen Books, Tomorrow SF, Isaac Asimov’s SF, Mayfair Games, Bethesda Softworks, Yard Dog Press and others. He directed the Art Programming track for LA Con II, the 1984 Worldcon and the 1985 World Fantasy Con. He was an adjunct professor at Oklahoma City University teaching illustration. He was President of the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists from 1990-92. I take pleasure in David Lee Anderson prints everyday; they are displayed on the walls of my home.
